The New Trailer for Noam Murro’s highly anticipated film, “300: Rise of an Empire”

In 2007, 300 Spartan warriors, led by their king, Leonidas, stood against Xerxes of Persia. Demonstrating superior, almost superhuman determination and strength, these soldiers battled till the moment they could no longer.  Now, the time has come for the fight against Xerxes to end. From Warner Bros. Pictures, Producer Zack Snyder, and Director Noam Murro comes the story of a epic battle fought with passion and much bloodshed… “300: Rise of an Empire“.

“After King Leonidas’ failed stand against the mortal-turned-god Xerxes, a new battle emerges. This time, Greece is leading the charge. With  massive battles against the Persians in the sea, the Greek general Themistocles tries to unite all of Greece in order to change the course of this war. Determined to be the victor, Xerxes unleashes a valued asset into this fight…. the vengeful and quite beautiful Artemesia, commander of the Persian navy.”

Jack O’Connell (Harry Brown, BBC’s Skins, upcoming Unbroken) as Calisto

Hans Matheson (TV’s The Tudors, Clash of the Titans, Sherlock Holmes) as Aesyklos

Andrew Tiernan (300, The Pianist) as Ephialtes, a disabled Spartan exile

Callan Mulvey (Zero Dark Thirty, upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier) as Scyllias

with David Wenham (300, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) as Dilios, a Spartan warrior

The film is directed by Noam Murro (Smart People) and will be released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX theaters on March 7th, 2014.
