The Hosnian system, capitol of the Republic, has been obliterated by sinister agents who have risen from the ashes of the Galactic Empire. This First Order, led by Supreme Leader Snoke and his dark apprentice Kylo Ren are in search of Luke Skywalker to finish the great Jedi purge. Han Solo is dead, Luke has been found, and the force has awakened in a new generation that is on the tipping point of good and evil.
The first trailer showcased Rey receiving her Jedi training from the secluded Skywalker and hints of a balance in the force along with an end to the Jedi that suggests the Grey, a literal force middle ground faction from the old Expanded Universe. Now, the question is which side of light and dark will Rey, Kylo, and Skywalker find themselves on whilst in the grip of Supreme Leader Snokes plans for greater power in a galaxy far, far away.
