The Soldier is Back: The Teaser Trailer for Marvel’s upcoming sequel, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier

YES!!!! I cannot wait to see this film in April. With the hopeful success of “Thor: The Dark World“, I believe that this could be one of the better films of Phase Two. The cast looks absolutely fan-freaking-tastic. From Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Pictures and Director Alan Taylor comes the next sequel in the Marvel series… “Captain America: The Winter Soldier

After his victory with The Avengers, Steve Rogers / Captain America is still trying to figure out how he fits into this new, modern age. While being a symbol of hope as Captain America, he knows deep down that he is needed, but wonders if that is all he will be needed for. Soon,  a very powerful, yet shadowy enemy attacks present day Washington D.C. forcing S.H.I.E.L.D. to re-enlist the aide of the Captain. Alongside fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, the two must take down this new enemy who just happens to be someone from Steve’s past.

The film stars:

Chris Evans (The Avengers, Captain America: The First Avenger, What’s Your Number?) as Steve Rogers / Captain America

Scarlett Johansson (The Avengers, We Bought a Zoo, Don Jon) as Agent Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow

Sebastian Stan (Captain America: The First Avenger, TV’s Once Upon a Time, The Apparition) as James “Bucky” Barnes / The Winter Soldier

Anthony Mackie (Gangster Squad, Pain & Gain, The Fifth Estate) as Agent Sam Wilson / The Falcon

Cobie Smulders (The Avengers, TV’s How I Met Your Mother, Delivery Man) as Agent Maria Hill

Frank Grillo (Warrior, The Grey, End of Watch) as Brock Rumlow / Crossbones

Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger, TV’s The Pillars of the Earth, upcoming Cinderella) as the older Peggy Carter

with Robert Redford (All The President’s Men, Spy Game, Sneakers) as Alexander Pierce

and Samuel L. Jackson (The Avengers, Oldboy, RoboCop) as Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The film is directed by Anthony & Joe Russo (TV’s Community, TV’s Arrested Development) and will be released in 2D & 3D theaters on April 4th, 2014.
