The new Justice League trailer has arrived and with it a better all around feel giving the audience a completely different experience than the last one. We are in a world without Superman, the beacon of hope who did not just save people but saw the best in them. It’s up to Batman, the man who’s come to terms with what he has done, to assemble Wonder Woman, the Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg to bring back the Age of Heroes. Together, they must stop holding back and see the best in each other to meet the insane danger brought to our world from Steppenwolf, one of the New Gods who feels our world is easy pickings without a Lantern or Cryptonian standing guard. While the Man of Steel is absent, he is teased toward the end and his theme echoes throughout the perils our heroes face emphasizing his strength through their resolve. It’s tough to say if this more exciting feel is due to Joss Whedon’s finger print on the film, or if Snyder has finally nailed what a DC film should be all about. Staring Henry Cavil (Clark Kent/Superman), Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/ Wonder Woman), Jason Mamoa (Arthur Curry/ Aquaman), Ezra Miller (Barry Allen/ The Flash), Ray Fisher (Victor Stone/Cyborg), Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Amber Heard (Mera), Billy Crudup (Henry Allen), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Willem Dafoe (Nuidis Vulko), J.K. Simmons (Commissioner Gordon), Ciarán Hinds (Steppenwolf), Jeremy Iron (Alfred Pennyworth), & Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Justice League opens November 17th.
