Marvel’s InHumans Trailer Has Landed

First introduced on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and plans for a film that kept getting shoved to the back burner finally found some legs on ABC with it’s own series.  First appearing in Fantastic Four #45InHumans are a segment of people within our own population who have been genetically experimented on and altered on a genetic level by an alien race called The Kree many, many moons ago.  Once exposed to Terrigen Mist, a cocoon forms around them and they emerge as their true self coupled with some cool/not so cool powers.  Think of them as Gobots for the X-Men.  Now, Marvel has finally released a trailer that’s pretty exciting, promising, and full of cool stuff straight from the source material.  While Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. focused more on the InHumans here on Earth, this series will focus on the InHuman Royal Family whose Kingdom, the city of Attilan, is hidden away in the blue area of Earth’s Moon.

This fall, the brilliantly minded Maximus the Mad (Iwon Rheon) seems to lead an uprising against his brother, the king, Banshee wannabe Blackagar Boltegon/Black Bolt (Anson Mount) over leaving Attilan and finding a place to thrive on Earth.  The series also features the strong haired Queen Medusa (Serinda Swan), the seismic Gorgon (Eme Ikwuakor), the tactical Karnak (Ken Leung), the fish man Triton (Mike Moh), NuHuman Auran (Sonya Balmores), the elemental Crystal (Isabelle Cornish), and the tubular teleporting pooch Lockjaw.   The eight episode season of InHumans will begin as a two-hour premiere in theaters starting September 1st with the remaining episodes playing out Friday’s at 8/7 central on ABC starting September 29th with a 2 hour premiere.  Everybody got that?  So what do you think, Comic Nation?  Are you ready for some InHuman action or is it time for a FoX-Men marathon?  Let us know and keep checking back for more on this in the coming weeks.
