Theres been only one name associated with playing Blackbolt in the MCU, Vin Diesel. Rumor has it he only took on the voice of Groot because the InHumans were far enough down the pipeline. That situation began to slowly decay as the InHuman film was moved to limbo after Spider-Man’s addition caused a major shift in their upcoming films. After exploring much of their origins on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it was announced that the InHumans would be getting their own series that is set to debut in IMAX theatres and continue on ABC. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) will be Playing the silent role of the InHuman King Blackagar Boltagon, or Black Bolt. He’ll be joining Iwon Rheon (Game of Thrones) as Maximus the Mad along with a rumored Lost star in the fall. Appearing first in Fantastic Four #45, this InHuman’s voice has the power to raise cities and is arguably the 2nd most powerful character in the Marvel Universe, with the Hulk being the first. With the shows debut approaching, we’re likely to hear more in the coming weeks on who, exactly, will make up the rest of the InHuman royal family.
