After defending New York City from Alexandra and The Hand, Jessica Jones is back for a second season of ass kicking and binge drinking. It looks like she’s back to work and is possibly still trying to discover the details behind her super powered origins while trying to piece back her life together after being free of Killgrave.
Little is known about the who’s and the what’s, but it’s rumored that Leah Gibson’s role could be playing the seasons villain Typhoid Mary, a pscionic telekenetic with dissociative identity dissorder and grave mental illness. It really is the perfect coctail for this series. Janet McTeer has also joined the show along with Arrow’s Wildcat, J.R. Ramirez. David Tennant’s return as Killgrave suggests that the nightmarish control he had over her will reverberate through the season as flashbacks. It’s also possible he could manifest as a figment of her imagination, forever burned into her memory to haunt her as a result of his death.
Returning to the series is Krysren Ritter as Jessica Jones, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker, and Eke Darville as Malcolm Ducasse. Season 2 of Jessica Jones will be available to binge March 8th, 2018 on Netflix.
