DC Announces Wonder Woman Day: June 3rd 2017

Today via Twitter, DC has announced June 3rd, 2017 as Wonder Woman Day. This is just one day after Wonder Woman opens in theaters. No, this was not an act of congress, it is an act of commerce.

Though Wonder Woman is a symbol that represents a strong empowering female image, this holiday most likely represents some sale prices on Wonder Woman issues on Comixology, and at your local comic shop. However, I don’t see any reason not to slap on your power bracelets and go show your support for the first woman tough enough to show up Superman and Batman.

Also, you should always support your local shops!

If you are looking for a way to celebrate real life women everywhere, please remember that March 8th is International Women’s Day.

With great power comes great responsibility, which is why I read and write about comics. Beats running around in spandex. Senior Editor, TMStash.
